The problem

Someone spends an afternoon converting and combining files for every tender or board meeting.

The outcome

One click produces the pack in the right order, ready to protect, sign or upload.

Before you start

  • Files named with a numeric prefix to control order (01 Cover.docx, 02 Company Profile.pdf…).

Build it step by step

  1. List the files — Get files (properties only) in the folder, ordered by name.

  2. Convert non-PDFs — Loop and use Adobe PDF Services Create PDF for Office files; keep PDFs as-is.
  3. Collect — Append each PDF's content to an array variable in order.
  4. Merge — Adobe PDF Services Merge PDFs with the array.
  5. Save — Save as <folder name> - Pack - <date>.pdf; optionally run Compress PDF and Protect PDF.

Connector action names are shown as they appear in Power Automate at the time of writing; Microsoft and Adobe occasionally rename actions or add new versions.

Error handling

  • Set Apply to each concurrency to 1 — parallel runs will scramble the order.

Licensing

  • Adobe PDF Services per transaction.

Variations

  • Add a cover page generated from a Word template with the table of contents.
