The problem

Designers spend hours exporting the same image in eight sizes.

The outcome

All channel sizes generated consistently within minutes of upload.

Before you start

  • Adobe Firefly Services (enterprise) credentials for the Photoshop API — or, for small volumes, a Photoshop droplet run on a designer's machine from a synced folder.

Build it step by step

  1. Get the master — Read the uploaded image and create a pre-signed/shared URL the API can access.
  2. Remove background — Call the remove-background endpoint (optional, for marketplace white backgrounds).
  3. Render sizes — Call the Photoshop API with a template PSD/action per channel size.
  4. Poll for completion — Use Do until on the job status endpoint with a short delay.
  5. Save outputs — Save each rendition to Product Images/<SKU>/<channel>.

Connector action names are shown as they appear in Power Automate at the time of writing; Microsoft and Adobe occasionally rename actions or add new versions.

Error handling

  • Respect API rate limits — process uploads in batches with concurrency control.

Licensing

  • HTTP is premium; Firefly Services is an enterprise Adobe agreement.

Variations

  • Use Adobe Express bulk create for marketing teams without API access.
