You'll need

  • Teams admin rights (or an admin to approve the app)
  • Acrobat Sign licences for senders

1. Allow the app

  1. Teams admin centre → Teams apps → Manage apps → search Adobe Acrobat Sign → Allow.
  2. Optionally add it to an app setup policy so it's pinned for licensed users.

2. Connect accounts

  1. Users open the app and sign in with their Acrobat Sign account (SSO if your Sign account uses Entra ID).

3. Send from a chat

  1. In a chat or channel, use the message extension (the Acrobat Sign icon under the compose box).
  2. Choose a file from OneDrive/SharePoint or a library template, add recipients, send.
  3. The app posts status updates back into the conversation.

4. Sign in meetings

Add the Acrobat Sign app to a meeting tab to collect signatures from participants live — useful for board circular resolutions or vendor sign-offs on a call.

5. Governance

Control who can send via Acrobat Sign user/group settings. Use templates so staff don't send uncontrolled documents.

Tips

  • Pair with the Agreement status agent so users can ask about status in plain language.
