You'll need

  • SharePoint Online site owner rights
  • Acrobat Sign enterprise or business plan

Choose your approach

Option A: Adobe's SharePoint Online integration app — fastest, configured by the Sign admin. Option B: Power Automate flows — fully custom. Many organisations use A for ad-hoc sending and B for structured processes.

Install the integration

  1. From Microsoft AppSource, add the Adobe Acrobat Sign app for SharePoint Online to your tenant (requires admin consent).
  2. In Site Contents, open the Acrobat Sign settings and connect to your Sign account.

Send from a library

  1. Select a document → Acrobat Sign → Send for signature.
  2. Choose recipients and options; the agreement is tracked against the file.

Map form data to columns

Set up data mapping so values from signed form fields populate SharePoint list columns — e.g. supplier name and bank details into a Vendors list. See our guide on SharePoint data mapping for the field naming rules.

Where signed copies go

Configure the target library/folder for signed documents and audit reports, and restrict permissions if documents contain personal data.

Tips

  • Name Sign form fields in lower_snake_case and match them exactly in your mapping.
