You'll need

  • Acrobat Studio, or Acrobat Pro/Standard with the AI Assistant add-on

What it does

AI Assistant answers questions about the PDF you open (or several documents), with citations to the source passages. Acrobat Studio also adds PDF Spaces — collections of files and links you can query together.

Prompts that work

Example prompts
Summarise the scope of work, deliverables and payment terms in a table.
List every date and deadline in this tender with page references.
Compare termination clauses between these two contracts.
What documents must the bidder submit? Return a checklist.

Check the citations

Click each citation to verify against the source — especially for numbers and dates.

Governance

  1. Confirm with Adobe's enterprise terms how documents are processed and that they're not used to train models.
  2. Decide which document classifications may be used with AI features.
  3. Admins can enable or disable generative AI features in the Admin Console.

Tips

  • For very large document sets inside Microsoft 365, compare with a Copilot Studio agent grounded in SharePoint.
