Licence types
- Named user (faculty and staff) — for lecturers and administrative staff.
- Named user (students) — for students who need apps on their own devices.
- Shared device — Creative Cloud installed on lab and classroom computers, licensed per device rather than per person.
Labs vs named users
Shared device licences are usually the most economical for computer labs used by many students. Named licences make sense when students need access off-campus for coursework.
Eligibility
Accredited public and private higher-education institutions (and K-12 schools) qualify. Eligibility is validated for the VIP account.
