Streamlining corporate intranets: embedding Acrobat Sign in SharePoint Online

Turn HR, procurement, and executive SharePoint pages into self-service signing surfaces with web forms and status panels.

An intranet should do more than announce policy. Embedding Acrobat Sign on SharePoint Online pages lets staff complete NDAs, vendor packs, and leadership approvals without leaving the portal.

Placement strategies

  • HR self-service — web form for NDA, handbook acknowledgement, or benefits updates.
  • Procurement — status panel for pending vendor agreements.
  • Executive hub — restricted page with pending approvals only for authorised owners.

Implementation

1. Create a reusable web form

In Acrobat Sign, open Web Forms, publish a reusable template, and copy the HTTPS embed / iframe snippet.

2. Edit the SharePoint page

On a communication or team site page, click Edit and add a section for the form.

3. Embed

Add the Embed web part, paste the iframe code, and set height so the form is usable on desktop and mobile.

4. Review and publish

Save as draft, test with a non-production Sign group, then publish. Apply page permissions that match the audience — embedding does not replace access control.
