Salesforce and Acrobat Sign: generate and sign contracts in one click

Pull Opportunity and Account data into agreements and send for signature from Lightning — cut re-keying and shorten sales cycle time.

Contract lag loses deals. Acrobat Sign for Salesforce lets AEs generate and send agreements from the CRM using Opportunity, Account, and Contact data.

Configuring one-click signature workflows

1. Install the AppExchange package

From Salesforce AppExchange, install Adobe Acrobat Sign for Salesforce for the right user set. Review permission sets carefully — “all users” is not always the right first step.

2. Connect tenants

Open the Acrobat Sign admin tab in Salesforce, choose Connect to Adobe, and authenticate with a Sign admin account.

3. Agreement templates

  • Choose the source object (Opportunity, Account, Contact).
  • Attach the master document from secure storage.
  • Map Salesforce fields to document tags (for example Opportunity Amount → contract total).

4. Lightning action

Add Send for Signature (or your custom action) to the Opportunity page layout via Lightning App Builder.

Salesforce Opportunity
  → Send for Signature
→ Merge Account / Opportunity fields
  → Generate PDF
  → Acrobat Sign send API

Operating tip for Malaysia teams

Align template languages (EN/BM), tax fields, and filing libraries with Finance before sales enablement rollout. Pair completed agreements with SharePoint or Salesforce Files retention rules.
